From Statement (1) -- q can be positive and r can be
negative.
r can also be a real number but not necessarily an integer.
Hence insufficient.
From Statement (2) -- q = 18.
But r can be negative or can be positive.
r can also be a real number not an integer
Hence insufficient
Taking both statements (1) and (2) together -- Again r can
be positive or negative. And again r can also be a real
number.
Hence insufficient
