Electrical is the one kind of engg. But electronics is the
one branch of electrical engg. where currents are passing
through Semiconductor materials.
Sothat now we are using thyristor controls in Electrical
drives for variable speeds.

do anyone out there know where to find a compleete list on acronyms/abbreviations used in offshore electric engineering. MCB - Micro Circuit Breaker, MCCB-Mouldes Case Circuit Breaker, ELCB-Earth Lekage Circuit Breaker, ELMCB- etc.....
