marketing myopia is the failur to define an oranization's
pupose in the term of its funtion from the customers point
of time. for example railways companies that define thier
markets in term of train, rather than transpotation, fail
to regognis the challenges of cometion from cars,
airlines , bus etc....
there for it is necessary to define the need of the
customer in more genral term rather than product specific
terms.
