what does d-flip flop stand for?means what is d there?

D-FLIPFLOP stands for Delay flip-flop.
It delays the input given to it ;means
if at input given 1(logic 1) then at output it will give 1.
you can make it from JK flipflop by just connecting a not
gate between two input.
