Test director is an test managment tool by mercury
interactive.
two major options are 1)Admin managment 2)Test Engineer
while installation this will come into picture.
Advantages: Test plan,Test script genaration manual and
automation using win runner, store the script, maintain the
defect sheet & inform to defect respected person via mail.

Is it necessary to learn test director for beginners?
I installed TestDirector 7.6 on my PC which has windows media center edition. It was working fine in the begining. But now when I try to start it, I get the message, "cannot connect to databas. The data base version is older than 7.5, please update database". I am using MS Access as the database. Any help would be appreciated.
