Material Type controls the various views and fields of the
material master....and this also has relation to SD..
For Example if..a company is producing some product and not
willing to sale then...we can control the Sales views for
that material type,...and hence need not to maintain all
the sales related data for that material...

What is the item category group? Where do you maintain it?
What is the client-specific data?
What is a transfer order and for what would you use it?
Have you know the shipment and shipment cost

We can define our own exchange rate types and use them instead of the defaulted types, ‘m’, ‘b’ and ‘g’. How can we overwrite default types in sd?
