WHAT IS THE VALUE/RANGE OF EARTH WIRE RESISTANCE USED
PARTICULARLY IN HOME....

Answer Posted / praveen jkumar sharma

unity powerfactor:when voltage and current are in same
phase i.e displaced by zero degrees simply cos(phy)=1;
where phy is the phase angle b\w voltage and current
low power factor: when current lags behind voltate by angle
phy,usally cos(phy)=0.1 to 0.4 corresponds to low power
factor

earth resistance varies from 2 to 5 ohm.
