WHAT AC (HI VOLTAGE TEST) VOLTAGE SHOULD APPLY FOR 33KV
CABLES.EXPLAIN IN DETAIL

Answer Posted / ran7it

u can use a hipot kit. for a 33kv cable the voltage 2 b
applied can b determined by formula (2E + 1),,whr E is the
system voltage,so for tis case it comes as 2*33 +1=67kv.
tis 67kv is mostly applied for the first time in factory
testing..after tat only 60-70% of 67kv sud b applied.
the cable has to withstand tis voltage for 1min..
