what is .8 doing in the above formula, while the rating is
given in the KVA and not in Kwatt.

the formula is ..KVA=1.732x Volt x Amp
where voltage will be taken as 415 volt. which is very
common in 3 phase motor rating.
this will produce the same answer as above [695 amps]

how can we find thae value of capacitor for single phase motor. what is difference between starting capacitor and running capacitor.
