/etc/system is a kernel configuration file.
The /etc/system file is the control file for modifying which
modules and parameters are to be loaded by the kernel at
boot time. By default, all lines in this file are commented out.
Modifying the kernel?s behavior (or configuration) requires
editing the /etc/system file. Altering this file allows you
to modify the kernel?s treatment of loadable modules as well
as to modify kernel parameters for some performance tuning.
