The neutral to earth connection in my industry is showing a zero reading
(shorted). I have a machine which has to be installed where neutral to earth is
not shorted and shows a leak voltage <3 Volts. Please suggest me how it is
possible.

Dear Bikash,
I am thankful to you for taking interest in answering my
query.
Actually, I have an equipment for which I have been clearly
indicated to not have neautal and earth shorted. If done
so, the equipment may have problems in future. When we
check with the multimeter the neautral to earth is showing
as shorted which gives a zero reading which is actually not
shorted. What can I do in this case where can I either get
a 0 reading (when not short) or <3 volts reading? Is there
a fault with my wiring? Some electricians say that this is
a usual phenomenon in industrial areas. If the phenomenon
is usual, is there a device which can be installed to
rectify this problem.
Thanks and regards,
