Question { 7991 }
How to prepare for doing OCA and is there books or any
model questions or any site which helps us fro preparing
our own? Please give me the complete information if
possible.
Answer
It is best to refer Oracle's official curriculum to prepare
for OCA or OCP. There are 2 exams to be cleared for OCA -
SQL and Fundamental I. For both exams you can refer books
provided by Oracle. However these books are not available
in the market as Oracle has its policy to distribute these
books through its own authorised study centers. So there
are 4 options to find these books :
1) Search on google if anybody has uploaded / posted any
links to download soft copy of these books
2) Ask any of your frineds who might have done this
certification or any friend in any IT company may arrange
it for you
3) You may try approaching the authorised Oracle study
centers. You can talk to students already studying there.
They can give you the xerox copy of the book
4) If you are in Delhi then you can find these books are
sometimes being sold at CHAWRI BAZAR - Chandni Chowk.
Chawri Bazar is a hub for all books - IT, Mgmt,
Engineering, Finance, etc.
