How to delete generations of gdg without deleting gdg base?

Answer

using IEFBR14 you can delete all gdg versions without
deleting GDG Base
see below details
//STEP2 EXEC PGM=IEFBR14
//SYSPRINT DD SYSOUT=A
//GDGDEL DD DSN=NBKRELQ.GDG.BASE,DISP=
(SHR,DELETE,DELETE),
// SPACE=(TRK,0)

with same utility you can delete a specifi GDG version aslo
just you need to change DSN name and DISP to DISP=
(MOD,DELETE,DELETE)
