Answer

Hi Satish!!!
Thax for ur kind reply...
I want to know the date & venue of your skill test......and
if u don't mine pls tell me your mobile no.....as mine is
9852133690.....my skill test is on 6th March in Kolkata.

Now Mahesh there is no any specific preparations which I
did for this perticular Exam....actually I have been
preaparing for SSC Combined Graduate Level and was also
successful in 2008, recently appeared in its
interview....so the preparations which I had been doing for
that exam actually helped me a lot to compete for this exam
in an easier way....You would be surprised to know that my
strongest point is arithmetic portion.....I have solved 87
absolutely correct questions in this exam (Tax-09)...since
there is an urgency to solve these problems in a limited
period of time,I mainly rely on quicker mathematics by
R.S.Sanger & apart from that I solve the practice set of
Combined Graduate Level Preliminary Text which comes under
the lebel of many publications but I prefer the Kiran
Publication...Just fix the time of 2hrs. and solve the
practice set and sort out your weak points ....u will
certainly excel....for any sort of suggestions I welcome u
any time on my mobile no. 9852133690.

Question { SSC, 21451 }

Finally selected SSC Graduate level - 2008 report here.

Answer

Congratulations Himanshu!!!

My friend named Vivek also got selected for Income Tax Inspector...& he met with the I.T. Inspector of our town....& he said that an I.T, inspector is a prestigeous job & chances of promotion are faster,i.e., in a year or a two you will be ITO and after that there is timely promotion....& apart from that you have also some chances to enjoy the extra income.

whereas central excise is concerned then i would like to inform you that my eldest brother was a central excise inspector (3 years of service) and left it when he got selected for the post of preventive officer in mumbai customs in 2006....thus u can understand...actually in central excise you serve 2 years in excise and 2 years in customs...this goes on repeating...the salary is handsome alongwith extra income when in customs...don't hope when you are in excise....& your rank suggest me that you will get the 1st or 2nd choice of your place of posting.

if you are not satisfied with your present job, like you are fed up with the loads of work, unfriendly office staffs and the place where you are right now posted, then for a change you can surely opt for central excise....

if the thing which I told you about I.T. is true in your sence then pls suggest me more about it bcz it will help my friend who has been appointed to the post of Inspector in I.T.-2008

Question { SSC, 7843 }

ANYBODY APPEARED IN SSC COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL
EXAM-2010(TIER-1) AFTERNOON SHIFT ON 16TH MAY,2010?

Answer

Hello Friends I am Prem Prakash Gupta from Jharkhand. I appeared in the first sitting. I came through both the sets and have drawn the conclusion between both the sets:-

As far as the reasoning & arithmetic portion is concerned both the sets were easy but the english paper of the 2nd shift was much harder in comparison to the 1st shift And the G.K. of 1st shift was harder than the 2nd shift. In the G.K. paper of the 2nd shift, there were several direct questions although there were many questions from ecomomics yet they were not much deep questions. But in the 1st shift there many questions from science and many of them were deep questions like +2 level.

So overall there was not much difference in the standards of the questions between the first and the second shift.Any one who has scored 50% be sure for their selection in Tier-I.

Pls share your opinion about my review over SSC COMBINED GRADUATE LEVEL EXAM-2010 (TIER-I)
