HQR,delhi & pasted there. on net they will give before
tuesday. 2253 qualified for Insp.grade,1957 for asst.grade
& 2495 in both.go 7 see.

there are many persons in the blog who are totally fraud,&
some of them is taking the e-mail id & continously sending
fraud offers of money in crores in the name of some banks
of international destinations.
one of such example is RAHUL & D.K etc..
anyhow............
the papers of CGLM 2008 was tough(G.K & Arith).
B.yadav is right,that a lots of candidate has scored more
than 185+ in 2006.But the case is not same of 2008.
so,we can expect appx.400 to 500 will get 200/200 in arith,
500-1500+will get 180+ & the average will be about 150+
or any thing can happen.
now it's all depends upon the no.of vaccancies..........
One shoking news was that ,no.of candidates qualified in
prelims of 2005 is more than 55000+ but the no.of vaccancy
filled up was much less than 2006.& in 2008 the post of IT
insp in 2007-08 was only 97 according to annual direct
recruitment plan (data taken from (IT website).so,now we
can only expect the no.of vaccancy should go higher.....
It is almost about 1 year that the result of combined
matric level main has not been declared till date,where
only two copies has to evaluate,so, how much time will they
take to evaluate 7 papers of graduate level?..no one
knows...
now the chairman of ssc has constituted an expert committee
to advice on 2Nd ARC.& if they take some decisions
regarding lowering the age limit then it will be a serious
problem for all of us.If any one of you have any news,then
please share..................

I h've also been selected for both streams.earlier i h've
said some participants in the blog steal the e-mail id &
continously send offers in crores & asked for address &
money.......Don't be trapped.
One particular participant of the blog Mr.D.K Is unknown of
real facts & gives false statement that vaccancies are
about 4500 as one of his relatives is in ssc.
As earlier I have said the vaccancies is much lower & about
1100-1300 in scheme-A & this time cut-off for gen candidate
will be about 465+.........
Many one said earlier that maths paper was tough but a lots
of candidate has answered all the 20 question correctly
mainly from central region.so,as all know golden chance is
for those who has secured 180+ in Arithmetic.
In the previous year about 1753 candidate was selected for
scheme-A in UR category, this time only 2509 will be
interviewed where a lot is there from SC/ST/OBC qualified
at general standard,so they will not be adjusted against
Quota available for them.
This time the no.of vaccancy in income tax as inspector is
186 & in the coming year it will be 95 only as there is a
order to abolished 1/3rd by DOPT. For details go to the
website of IT deptt.---departmental news-no.of vaccancies
cleared & to be filled up by UPSC & SSC.
Next year the no. of applicants will be about 8 lacs
against 2.5 in 2008 as revealed from tax asstt. this year
it is about 4.5 lacs against 1.7 last year where as the no.
of vaccancies is continously decreasing.

If you have given exam for both the stream irrespective of
preference,mainly the last paper of the last day,then it
presumed that you are interested for asst.grade also.
if your roll no. is not in the list for asst.grade then it
means that your marks is less than 353.

major change in exam pattern as per recommended by 2nd ARC
& expert group constituted by DOPT.may be the name of exam
will change......tax asst.was last advertised & lots are
waiting like SO(CA),SO(A),SO(ACC),Matric level,etc.
THere will be no more matric level with qualification
10th,& as per recommended by 2nd ARC,the minimum
qualification should be 12th , is considered & accepted by
DOPT,there will be major reshuffle in the civil services
exam also as the paper has been placed to lok sabha & rajya
sabha.
Secondly, the no.of vaccancy is decreasing, in 2009-10 the
vaccancy cleared by the user department like for
insp.IT= 95
CE=265
Po=29
Examiner=47
CBI=26
whereas no.of apllications will be above 8 lacs.

this time may b abt 10 lakhs application is recvd whereas the no.of vaccancy is abt 3500 including all deptts.as per message recvd...& max.part of meritious candidate has applied this yr starting frm M.Tech,M.E,B.E,to an ordinary graduates...with a lot frm serving Railway persons.......
so,naturally this time the competition will be much more tougher...
See the cut-off of tax asst 09...it's 206....more than 70% not even the the final cut-off............
so we can analyse the future cut-offs with lower vaccancy position.............
