we all know that in transformer, voltage and current are inversely related i.e. Vp/Vs= Is/Ip....so in standard CT..we have a ratio of 200/5...that means our voltage should increase by ratio of 40..althoug that is not the case...because that requires high insulation level.and pratically not feasible......can anybody clarify my ques.......thanx

2 3981I try to check the three phase voltage in multimeter, in 125A isolator switch incommer. first i touch R phase, and then i touch Y phase using multimeter, the moment i touched, it blasts and that moment i got blindness. multimeter selector position is correct(750V AC MODE AND RED PROBE WASS IN v AND BLACK PROBE WASS IN COM. MODE. COULD ANYBODY GIVE ANSWER FOR THIS TO AVOID FURTHER ACCIDENTS PLEASE?

I just want to convert the voltage into current i.e. suppose I have 750V & 1A AC power then I want to convert it into 12V & 62A DC power only difficulty is that I don't want to use the tranceformer.
