i m doing bsc in biotechnology n i m confuse what to do in future...whether i shall do msc in biot..

Answer / tilothama bhotra

Doing just a bsc in biotechnology will not suffice,..u need
to do a higher course. But a Msc in biotechnology even is
not enough. Only courses like a Btech or Mtech in
biotechnology can only fetch a good earn job. But if ur
hard working n have patience then u can opt for R & D
sector by preparing for JRF exams. or else go for a MBA
degree in biotech or go for clinical research..it may
provide better opportunities.

It is true that B.Sc. in Biotechnology is not sufficient..you should have to do M.Sc. in Biotechnology and after it do training in any valuable lab like most popular is "Hash biotech lab" and in any other research centers so that you can get better job in private sector..
example: In water purifier company, beverage company, pharmaceutical labs and even you can be a lecturer..!!
