why do we sneeze?
is there any relation between the 'random sneezing' and our
brain?does our brain control this involuntary action?
Answer / bricy
We sneeze to remove foreign particles irritating the nasal
mucosa. The nerves within the parasympathetic nervous system
that coordinate sneezing feed into a part of our brainstem
known as the medulla oblongata. Current brain imaging
techniques are not sensitive enough to pin down exactly
which neurons within the medulla control the sneeze
response.
