The answer will depends on the nature of investment made in
property.
The Basic nature of the person or organisation is to carry
on the rental business ie to buy or consturct the
properties and to let out.Here the main motive of
investment is to earn the rental income.It is the main
business objective of such concern.
In this case we need to considered as Trading income not as
income form house property.
On the other hand rental income should be treated as
investment income or income from house property.

investment income may be in the form of return which
we accpect the return may be in the form of intrest or
dividend rented accomidation treated as an investment
income when rent received is invested in securities
trading income is the income which is derived from
particular trade then it will be treated as trading income
generally trading income will be recorded in credit side of
trading a/c
