How many Reports Can be Got from Test Director?
Answer / yasobant badatya
User can create the reports from every component in QC. If
you are in Requirements tab, you can also generate the
coverage report.
If you are in Test Plan, you can also able to view the test
cases design coverage from there.
You can create the Test Execution/Defects Summary/Priority
wise executions/Day wise Executions/Resource wise
Executions/Progress Reports on hour basis/Manual and
Automation coverage and etc. reports from Test Lab using
Live Analysis. You can also export these reports into xls
or any other formats for updation to your senior
management. You can also create various graphs from these
reports. In this way you can create max up to 40 reports
(Private or Public Reports). Private reports can be
viewable in their own logins where as Public reports can be
accessed by everybody inside the team(who are authorized to
access that respective project).
I have used these methods in my projects. I think these
reports are enough for Reporting and tracking the progress.
Using the Dashboard also we can prepare the other reports
based on the accelerators purchaged by your organization.

how does you configure test cases in testdirector in automation Testing?
Hi All, Im currently getting to grips with the Document Generator in Test Director and have a query. We use TD to link requirements to test cases and I am attempting to produce a report which lists the requirement and the test case it is linked to. I cant see a way to do this as the test case link info resides on the Coverage page and it appears the only field available to display for requirements reports within document generator as those on the 'details' tab. Any tips?
