No, Always before going for automation testing all the
companies go for manual testing, and after fixing around
90% bugs they go for automation. till the time without
doing manual testing, automation testing is not allowed.

Manual testing is required as to getthe look and feel of the
product but yes 90% of manual effort and testing time can be
reduced by automation testing
