What is Time Series algorithm in data mining?..

Answer / anil kumar

Here is the funny part, the question itself isnt posed well
& the funniest thing about it is please .. oh well, why
rant ...it is not an algorithm..It is one of the
statistical tools that help in Predictive analysis ie.,
Data Mining(For Real). There are few standardised models
like -
Box-Jenkins ARIMA models
Box-Jenkins Variate Models(Univariate & Bivariate)
Exponential Smoothing.

The problem with this is with the phrase - "There are lies,
some more lies & there are statistics."...I guess you got
it..

Regards,
Anil Kumar.
