T-cells mature in the thymus-involved in cell immunity,

Both t and b cells are known as immunocytes.their origin is same and their maturation is different.t cells recognize the antigens which are processed and recognized by MHC molecules where as the B cells recognize the antigens which may or maynot processed by the phagocytes
