Direct Taxes are those which are lieved by Govt. directly
such as, Income tax, Wealth Tax, Gift tax.
Indirect taxes are those which are inclusive of all the
taxes such as- Sales tax, VAT, Excise Duty, Custom duty

directly . the best example i should give is the income
which w earned like salary and wealth tax and property tax
etc
the indirect tax is a trax which is paid indirectly to
the government which is custom duties excise duty and vat

The primary difference between Direct Taxes and Indirect
taxes is that,
> The tax is levied directly on the tax payer, i.e, the
Govenment levies and collects from such tax payer.
Eg: income tax, etc.
> In case of Indirect Taxes, The tax is collected by an

same to the Govt.
