I have 3 years of exp.in Manual Testing.My Company is going
to provide training for Automation.Pls suggest me Which
tool is better QTP/Load runner for future opportunity?

Both are different, QTP is for functional and LoadRunner is
for non functional testing tools, both have there values,
you have to decide whether you want to go for functional or
non functional testing

I think QTP is Best Suitable for u
Reason :
One project ( Assume :Banking Related ) is running in your
company
6 / 7 Manual Testers (Build in not stable ) Time :
Around 1 year
2/3 Automation Testers ( Build is Stable ) Time :
Around 3/ 4 months
But Load Runner 1 Person is Enough Time: 5 / 10
days
Note : Load Runner Tester Salaries is also Equal to QTP

Just go for Loadrunner. Reason being-
In coming cuple of years from now, Internet is going to
spread its wings by leaps and bounds and the concept of
convergence will come in to the picture where all the media
(telecom, internet, cable tv) will be integrated together
to form iWay (Information super highway). And hence, tehre
would be a need to load test the internet applications
(merely web bases on diffrnt protocols- like HTTP, HTTPS,
VOIP..etc)... Hence there would be upgradation in
loadrunner software too.... So just start off with Load
runner and keep upgrading urself in different technologies
(web, SAP,WINDOWS..ETC), on different protocols (http

QTP is best functional tool running in market & load runner
is using for Load testing.
So, According to me QTP is best tool for future opportunity.

diff. testing Purpose(Performance and Funtional)But Which

qtp and load runner is different in their use.qtp is
functioal tool and load runner is performance tool.you can
select the tool according to your company requirements.both
are useful in different manner.

I too hv same problem,i want to start some automation traning, bt m totally confused wat i need to do first,i hv more than 3 year experince in manual testing,i need to shift from delhi to banglore,so need to leave my job in november dec,i want to continue my life with new job,but i dont think so manu options in manual tesing so i want to take qtp traning,but i want to confirm when i should start this traning,is it right if i join now as m leaving from delhi in december or i should take coaching later,plzzzzzzzz help me,is it right to take traning before 7 month of searching new job.....plzzzzz help me
