Its a Integrated with multi location, multi modules like Finance & Accounting (FICO), Sales & Distribution (SD), Production & Planning (PPM), Personal & Human Resource (HR) etc.

Eg.
1. SAP R/3. - typically has S&D, PPM, FICO.
2. PeopleSoft - typically has HR.
3. JD Edwards - typically has S&D, PPM, FICO.
4. OracleApps - typically has S&D, PPM, FICO.

Now JD Edwards acquired PeopleSoft, then its acquired by OracleApps.
