There are three general categories for any kind of memory:
ROM (Read Only Memory), RAM (Random Access Memory), and RW
(ReWritable) memory. For types of semiconductor ROM there
are: PROM (Programmable ROM), EPROM (Erasable Programmable
ROM), and EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable ROM).
For types of semiconductor RAM there are: DRAM (Dynamic RAM),
SRAM (Static RAM), SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM), and MRAM
(Magneto-resistive RAM). For RW memory there is only one
type: Flash memory. That is the list.
