My answer is in breif 5 cat to eat 5 rat in 5 min. okay
my answer is only 5 cats are required to eat 100 rats in
100min. How ????

1st cat 20 rat = 20min
2nd cat 20 rat =20min
3rd cat 20 rat = 20min
4th cat 20 rat =20min
5th cat 20 rat= 20min
so tatal 5 cat 100rat and 100minutes.

it's totally depends on cat.. confused? okay even 1 cat can eat 100 rats in 100 mints.. or 100 cats eat 100 rats in 100 mints.it's depends on cat's capacity... simple na.. i have faced this question when i attend a Interview.

1 cat takes 5 mins to eat a rat.
so, 1 cat eats 20 rats in 100 mins(100/5=20)
so to eat 100 rats in 100 mins we require 5 cats(5*20=100)

the answer is 5 because if 5 cats are eating 1 rat in 1
minutes then 5 cats are eating 2nd rat in 2nd mintes then 5
cats can eat 100 rats in 100 minutes.It means 5 cats are
eating 1 rat in 1 minute so the cats are same just the time
and rats have exceeded.

5 cat eat 5 rat in 5 min. means
1 cat eat 1 rat in 5 min.
1 cat eat 20 rat in 100 min. (since 20*5=100)
so to eat 100 rat in 100 min, its need 5 cat.
5 cat can eat 100 rats in 100 min.
Ans is 5 cat not other than that.
