1st ly yogeeta don't spread panic 2 all.........my father
is in SBI....so stop this nonsence......no one knows it's
upto MUMBAI branch......so evryone is just guessing.....we
can hope for the best & as soon as possible.............

i see out there many who are overwhelmed by their success
and some who are saddened with their failure.

I would like to introduce myself as I have been a frequent
visitor to this site and became familiar with most names
like anita, parminder, nil(u r so..... i dont have the words
to describe u but who am I to evaluate u, right?).

I wrote the exam on 13th december from andhra pradesh and
was not at all interested or even prepared at that time, but
I have been a national ranker in most medical entrances, but
was unable to join medicine due to various financial and
family problems and found a job in medical transcription. I
now am doing medical transcription from home. Coming to the
point, as i said, i wrote the exam without preparation, i
did not attempt general knowledge section, i did not answer
a single question related to banking and marketing. But the
questions i answered, I was damn sure that I know them and
almost all the questions I attempted must have gone right.

then, I was resuming my life as a medical transcriptionist,
working a lousy 13 hours a day minimum to get about 20000 a
month, when I received a call for the interview via sms at
first and then the call letter. I ignored it until my
father reminded me to go to the interview, when I said "I am
not sure if will succeed in my interview, since this is a
govt job, and I dont know a thing about, banking, and also
that I am not prepared". I was of the thought that there
will be corrupt people, and we would need to get
recommendations, which i am not capable of, then. But
because of my father, I attended the interview, answered to
the board politely and in English that was simple but
straiight. They asked me what I knew about banking and my
answer was I dont know a thing about banking except for
depositing and withdrawinig money from my account. They
also asked me whether I would continue medical transcription
if I got job in sbi, and my answer was in plain english
"even if i dont get the job in sbi, i will have to find
another profession and build my career as, medical
transcription is a job with stress and there is no time to
spend with my family and enjoy my life". then, i left the
inteview center and was resuming my life when I suddenly got
this sms that i was selected and at first I thought it was
fake until I got an e-mail from crpd stating the same.

To tell u the fact I have been frequently visiting this site
since the interview call and I prepared for nothing else. I
am now happy that I got a job, with which at least I can
spend quality time with my family.

My conclusion is u dont have to spend a lot of money to get
into government jobs unless corrupt officials are involved.

You dont have to waste money on coaching either.

All you have to do is, stengthen yourself in the subject you
are most familiar with, like maths for maths student and
sharpen your reasoning. Prepare according to the time you
have, and do the best of ur power, and when negative marks
are involved, be cautious about what u r not sure of.

Be confident, develop your communication skills, be thorough
with your core subjects in ur +2 or graduation, try to
engage the interviewers in a conversation rather than trying
to answer their questions. It is all about what we do at
the spot and how well our responses are.

There is nothing called good luck or bad luck. we are just
blaming our inabilities on luck and not thinking about what
we could do about future. What good will it give to think
about the past and grieve ur failure. instead learn from ur
mistakes and dont let them happen again. that is all anyone
could do.

Be frank and truthful in all means. Dont think of the
consequences of your telling the truth or being frank. These
are the two tips to developing good communication skills and
this no coaching center will teach you. Dont try to bluff,
dont try to guess, and dont try to deny that "I dont know
the answer for this". Learn to say "no", learn to say "I
dont know" when you really dont know.

Grab the opportunity in hand and try your best. That is the
path to success. Most of us are too lazy to accept that.

I have been selected for Hyderabad circle.

congrats to all who got selected and wish you all the best
in your future attempts who have not been selected.

for those who are very discouraged and disappointed: just
don't blame it on luck or others, accept it as your
inability and try to correct that. Then there will be no
hurdle in your way.

For those who dont get my point, get a life.

Hi Everybody! As I am seeing that everybody is eager about
the result of SBI clerk, but all are guessing and spreading
the rumors through this forum. No one Except the SBI Head
Quarter knows the tentative date of result. We can hope for
good only. Furthermore, if we see the previous recruitment
cycles of SBI, we find that it takes 5 to 6 months for
completing the entire process. As the written exam were held
in first half of July, we can hope for the final result upto
November Last week or December First week.
And Finally, this time SBI is recruiting a large no. of
employees (about 20000), delay is also possible, because I
think it will take more time to compile such a huge list.
Please be patient and Best of Luck for all candidates.

in second week due to the higher vacency.....

The Result will be Declared on between 28th nov to 4th Dec.
it is final
i got this information from the person who was there to
take our interview in ahmedabad branch.
he said the result is ready and they are preparing for the
medical test for the selected candidates.
