I will be going for an interview for Spring 2009 Semester
within the next two weeks and have a small confusion any
idea how to tackle it. My father died about 8 months ago and
my mother who was previously a teacher is now a house wife.
I have a brother studying and my uncle will be sponsoring
me, How can this be justified? As the income (which is
currently Property Rent + In house business + Support from
my uncle) cannot be justified on paper how can I counter this.?

I have my brother and sister in US and my parents keep on going as they have greencard. My sister have filed for my immigration in 2001. I have never applied for visa till now.Should i tell the interviewer about my family members being in US well in advance or i should do that only if it is asked?
sir,this is vamshi. i completed my btech(cs)in 2006 and i secired 59.25%.now am working as a associate professor in a same college which is i studied(btech).my gre & toefl is 850,73 respectevly.i have 6 backlogs ,i applied for tamu-commerce and i got rejected my visa recently.now am applying my visa on 11 july'08.could you please help me how can i support with this criteria? what are the expected questions and give me the proper answers ..

Me: 3months exp & I underwent a leg surgery ( Actually I am 2007 passed out student & I underwent leg surgery for 2times, which is very rare condition & I had 3month work exp also. But in DS 160 form I didnt mention about exp. I dont want to tell lie to them so I told about 3months work exp & later I told about leg surgery. But she didnt listen to my surgery. Visa Officer: she told something Me: I didnt listen to her properly because I was upset & I told Thank you & I left the place with my papers So When can I re-apply for 2nd VI & wat to do with my 3yrs gap after undergraduation Plz suggest me I wanna know & I wanna undergo for the final surgery soon. I’m Rakesh,presently studying in SRM college(BSc-computer science). My visa got rejected. Here is my case. I completed my 12th grade and I scored 1037 and scored 86 in TOEFL ibt. I did not immediately apply for the USA university,there was a gap of one year,during this one year I’m doing my BSc-computer science in SRM college. I got the I20 from the De anza community college,cupertino,california. I’m going to pursue Computer information system in De anza. The VO asked me that, why am I changing from bsc course? secondly, he asked “why are you going for the 2 year college rather than picking a four year college”? And thirdly,he asked me why dint you apply for the college as soon as you complete your 12th grade? Why are you suddenly discontinuing this college and going for De anza? So let me know the ways to get thru the interview!
