Dear Nitin, Pramod, Pankaj and others.


The total salary of the clerical cadre after probationary
period of 6 months will be around 10,000 rupees at the
current scale. When the scale gets revised in May 2009, the
salary would become Rs. 14,000 or more. This salary is
inclusive of all allowances.

Moreover, u get 15 days CL, 30 days earned leave, medical
leave, half pay leave, Restricted Holidays, etc., and also
other perks like bonuses, etc. Now form the 6th pay
commission, they are going to introduce a new concept of
performance bonus, wherein, the employees whose performance
is good will be rewarded.

And you get LFC - leave fare Concession. eligible for AC 3
tier for journey anywhere in India along with family once
per year.

And Bank employees get loans on a very nominal interest
rates. I don't know what the rates are, but i request anyone
who has info about this. what will be the rate of interest
for bank employees on home loans and other loans.

sry,some typin errors in the previous answer,so a new 1.

@ vivek... all your info is 100% correct. the salary would
be around 14k+ for clerks after the scale revision, this
might happen by the end of march 2009.

And the interest rates for bank employees is just 6% per
annum(home,car etc) A clerk gets 12 lacs loan on housing
and 7 lacs car loan,(only after workin with sbi for 5 years)

and for those who r not satisfied with the salary of clerk
job, guys y dont u try for PO exams? u ll get more salary
than a software engineer. once you become a PO(probationary
officer),then nothin in this world can stop u. u ll be
called as scale 1 officer. u can write overseas exams and
work abroad.

This job is best suited for those who want to pursue their
career in some other field. u ll be free after 5.30pm, so u
can do watever u want( any extra curricular activities)
which is not at all possible with software engineers.

The main reason to opt this job is that,u ll get more
respect frm the societyand ppl wil recognize u(i mean
better than any software
engineer)

i m chosin this job coz i hav suffered a lot wit my present
job(btw i am a software test engineer),i ll happily quit my
current job for the bank job. and i ll get more time to
prepare for my mba exams.

guys,don worry abt the money now.. think of the stable
future.my dad is with SBI for 25 years,so i knw
something abt the job which most dont ;-)

anyways the final is upto u. take a wise decision.. all the
best for ur future.

This is my request to u all that if u dont know the correct
date of publication of interview result, then please dont
create confusion by guessing the date. Write about the date
of publication of final result only if u are sure about it.

I have a doubt...
donno if the quest is relevant .. still 4 my eagerness I am
asking..........
Suppose if a candidate is not selected in the Result (
Clerical) published by SBI .... Is there any chance for him
2 keep a hope !!!!
I meant , all the candidates selected may not join this job
( due to many reasons) ,,,,,,,,,,so is there any chance
that the others in waiting list may get a chance////////
Are there different Lists or altogather they will select
only 4m the 1st list ?????????

Hi friends

..Regarding the declaration of results, many of here
commenting that my friend who is in sbi said like that, and
my relative who is a manager in sbi says like that
etc...first of all, the normal employees in SBI have a very
little connection with the recruitment as it is fully under
tthe control of CRPD, department which conducts recruitment
in SBI...so we can't trust their opinions, maybe they r
also guessing..

but lemme tell u one thing, i gave my interview in
Trivandrum LHO..Before the commencement of the interview,
when we we were waiting for the certificate verification,
one guy came in and introduced as the HR manager of Kerala
Circle.. He then gave us a brief introduction of this
20000 clerk recruitment process like the written test held
on 6 and 13 and finally he mentioned that,

"we will send notifications to the selected candidates by
December and then by January, we are expecting to start the
training sessions."

I think it is 95% trustable..

Actually some of my friends are spreading the rumers or
Gossips regarding the salary or loan (ha ha ha )

they dony know the meaning of including: or they dont know
what is salary).... otherwise
"they never tried to misguide us"

behtar hoga in bachkani harkaton se baaj aao...
please dont misguide us regarding fringe benefits or loan.

Dear Vivek 2,

I agree wid the person named "vivek" who has posted answer#
752.
I really feel that we should nt spread any reumour
regarding the result or pay scale until we are sure about
it.

One more thing is that I m very sorry to say that you are
citizen of a country where more than 70% people are Hindu
even you have no respect for Hindi Language.
Most of us may nt have good command over english bt it
dosnt mean that they are nt capable.

Hindi is the most common language of our country which is
understandable by everyone so I don’t think that there is
any harm to post the answers in hindi.

I don’t know that how gud are u in English even I would
like to tell u that we are not here to find mistakes in
other. We are here to share our views and to help others.
