I have qualified in the sbi clerical test .Now my
interview is on 16-10-2008.So pls tell me what questions
are asked in the interview and tell me the reference book
for interview in sbi.

I believe SBI has 10000 branches,The 9118th branch was
inaugurated by P.Chidambaram in Pudukottai in Tamil Nadu on
October 30 this year,can anyone tell the branches opened
after it.SBI is also aiming to open about 250 branches this
year.

what is the cut-off marks? I think they will ask questions

Lets pour our views regarding low salary to this mail-id

wat they think of us????? Life become difficult with this
salary to run the life even in small cities. Imagine people
in Metros' like Delhi , Mumbai etc.
May be let's join this Clerk Job in the Catagory of low
grade jobs like railway porter, coolie, rikshaw-wala like
that. Even people doing such low grade works are earning
more than this.
Total Idiotic. Yesterday had gone. Future is uncertain.
Let's think abt present. Dont tell the same words " Future
Life, Future Life " . Its nothing. If u think 4 safety
means forgot giving good education, buying new materials,
and enjoying life. You have to run the life in paise's.
I had decide to leave this job eventhough i m selected. Coz
i m earning 26k as production Supervisor in a MNC's
Manufacturing Division @ Chennai. I have a dream to build
an own house, giving good education to my Children ,
Savings etc etc. I Cant do any one of those dreams if i
join this Machine like job. No Challenges, No Thrills etc

Keeping ur situation in mind , my view is dont accept this
clerk job and continue in u r current job. Even after two
years u can earn more than 22-25k , if u switch over to
another good Company. But u have to decide the final.
Accounts speaks anywhere.SO take a good decision.

Hi,
Im anil n me too have qualified for sbi exam.This is my
first interview,Im feeling so tensed.On the top i have 4
years gap in my education career due to ill health n
accident.I donno how to cover it up.I will try to share
some answer as far as my knowledge.
1) REPO RATE:Its the rate at which the banks lends the
money frm RBI.
2) NPA: Its the first three digits of a either telephone
number or area.
3) The present RBI Chairman is YV.Reddy
4)American financial crisis: About LEhman brother's e.t.c
5)Current affairs like olympics n reading news paper daily
will help.
And finally share the interview questions with all the
guys so we can get ready.And someone send me some tips on
how to cover my education

i finished my interview on 8th may....... they asked me these questions...... 1)tell me abt urself(I andwered for 2 mins) 2)difference between 2g and 3g(3g is faster than 2g)i forgot to answer that 3g has more bandwidth and it is circuit switched network 3)what is the uniqueness of 500 rupees note (that circle at corner for blind people , wen in light the colour of 500 changes) 4)what is the technology of atm(i dont know) 5)what are the different types of deposits(Recurring and fixed deposits) 6)what is recent hockey tournament going on(this also i dont know) 7)who is leading in recent world chess championship(anand wen i saw but later i dont know who was leading) 8)who is topper in recent IAS exams?(i didnt answer) 9)what u consider as ur life time achievement? the panel was very soft......so no tension......
