What are address Lists?

Answer / naga.server
When users connect to Exchange with a client, such as
Outlook 2003, they expect to communicate with other people
in the organization easily. Users need to do more than
compose e-mail messages with their messaging client.
Whether they want to send an e-mail message, telephone a
coworker, look up an office number, or schedule a meeting,
they need to find information about another recipient
quickly. Address lists help you to organize this type of
information in a meaningful way.
The most familiar address list is the global address list
(GAL). By default, the GAL contains all recipients in an
Exchange organization
