The full form of RPM is Redhat Package Manager.
rpm is a powerful Package Manager, which can be used

individual software packages. A package consists of an

RPM means R-Redhat P-Package M-manager
it's just like a .exe file of microsoft. we can use it in
linux only for installing and upgrading purpose.
