What is the diff between Drill through reports and Master
detail reports?

Master Detail report - we are navigating to the detail
information within the same report. No second report is
involved.
Drill through report - we are navigating to the detail
information from one report to another. Second report is
involved in this scenario.
Depends upon the business scenario, how you want to handle
using either of the concepts. In MD report, you are
including the detail info in the same report which might
put load on the server everytime, you run the report. But
in the DThru scenario, we are just loading the server when
we wanted the detail info (not everytime the business wants
to go to the detail info.. and in those scenarios, dril
thru comes handy).

Master Detail Report contain Nested Frame to produce flow
less information.
But in Drill through report we can access more Detail
Information in one Report by selecting Data item value from
Source Report.
