Hai this is alekhya, b.tech (ECE) , relieved last year. I
have qualified group I prelims. Now I am preparing for
mains. I can't go to hyderabad to join coaching as the
classes have already started 15 days back.so i request any
one can please tell me where can i get the study material
for group I mains in english medium. tell me whether there
is postal coaching. i will be thankful to who ever helps me
in this regard. thank u all.

Hai this is praveen,
previouly the other getlemen gave good advice....regarding
the study material for e/m...So, it is better to take
coaching... for this u call at 040-27668513 for e/m
coaching..r.c.reddy study cirle., or else u have to buy
reference books to gp1 mains.. so it takes bag full of
books.. in this short time u 'll seach for syllabus in this
books which content is wch book..then all time waste... no
specific books released for some of this new sylabus ...
now stop thinkng and join coaching at least u can have an
idea about new syllabus as they will guide u personaly....

sorry english medium meterial available but the fully coverd
meterial not available in the market bcz it is changed
syllabus and the limitations and model paper no one knows.

i also qualified for group -1 mains no institute is giving
better study material. plz gothrough the syllabus and make
ur self a very good notes . for better and accurate data
collection you can adopt net because you r writing in
english medium . one thing you must know how to write an new
modern essay(not the conventional essay).
you can purchase market available books such as vijetha
compitetions and others make sure this is not good material
but it can guide u what is the syllabus and at what extent
you must read and others . better spend more time in library
for btter results.
by the way i am preparing in telugu medium iam not able to
help you
all the bet good luck in mains and interview.

APPSC was my interest from my college(thats in 2000) days but could not pursue due to circumstances. Now I have the affordable money and time. I was browsing google and came across this site. I appreciate the way people have responded with answers and I want your suggestion, please. I am an MCA with 4yrs work exp. Now if I want to give APPSC can any of you suggest: 1)what papers I can opt for. some said public Admin and sociology but I want something in combination with computers. can you please !! 2)how much time per day do we need to dedicate at home if we are wokring and attending to coaching classes. this will help me have an idea If i can or cant I !! 3)seeing politics soo much in our country involved in everything, how best do you think are these APPSC exams w.r.t job if you get posted. 4)APPSC is not was it was in the days before once you join the job when posted. Its all ppolitics now. Is it worth for these exams or is working in pvt companies safe with no politiical hustle. If its job dignity then yes, but if its money and peaceful work, then is it ???? 5)Can I please know usually which month are the prelims exams, the mains and the interview. I read your answers ... hi, I am planning to attempt the group-1 exam this time. Could you please clarify my doubts, 1. I have read in the syllabus that there will a screening test, which will decide the entrance to the prelims. If so when this exam will happen and with in how many days will get the results?. So that can attempt the other papers. 2. After this, has all the 6 papers (grp-1 prelims) will be conducted in the same day or how will it be? Thank you so much in Advance!
Are there any regulations to write the Group I and II exams like, no of times to attempt and age?
Can any body clarify my point that are the APPSC officials going to declare additional candidates supposed to be qualified for Group I mains keeping in view the reservation system prevelent in other states as they have not followed it and also keeping in view the assurances given by the CM Dr.Y.S.R to BC leaders on the issue?
