AIDS Teatment involves a combination therapy ,which is
called as HAART,highly active anti-retroviral tharapy,is a
combination of 2 nuleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors
[didanosine,zalcitabine,abacavir] and either a nonnucleoside
revrse tanscriptase inhibitors like neviripine,efavirenz,
and protease inhibitors like nelfinavir,saqunavir,ritonivir.

COCKTAIL THERAPY IE MULTI DRUG PROTEASE INHIBITOR THERAPY
and the other Therapy known as Zidovudine (Azidothymidine) .
Zidovudine is the nucleoside analogue and inhibits Reverse
Transcriptase.

AIDS is acquired immuno deficiency syndrome , up to now
there are no drugs which can claim complete cure of the
disease, drugs are available that can control the virus from
quick replication, usually retroviral drugs are used for the
treatment,the virus is very potent and misuse of the drugs
can lead to resistant strains, hence multi drug therapy is
usually suggested like zidovudine, lamivudine ,stavudine,
acyclovir, guancyclovir etc ,the list goes on.. depending
upon the intensity of the disease
