why we use aggregation in lower level

why we use aggregation in lower level..

Answer / shamanth

Aggregation will be defined at lowest level only, because
we can move/drill anytime from lowest-highest but viceversa
(highest-lowest) is not possible.

Defining aggregation at the lowest level is best practice
to improve performance.
