how do u migrate BO 6.x to XI ?

migration is done with the help of import wizard in xir2.
other wise u can mannually migrate universe or report.
when u try to open a 6.5 or 5x version report or universe
they will automaticaly updated to xi and they cannot open
again in the previous version once they converted to xi.
that is why it is better to take a back up before migration.

when u work in latest version of BO .old files
automatically migrate to new version.
example: while u open 6.5 version reportd in Xi r2 first of
all u have to import it.may at the same time it will ask u
a msg like (override the current version of BO) like that
i am saying generally.practically i dont no what will be
happened exactly
