Do immigrant parents (They got green card just 6 months before) have great negative impact in getting F1 visa (student visa) when all other credentials are very good ? (I mean very good unergrad result, test scores, good financial strength in home country..)
I have applied for an undergraduate course in America and got admitted, but the problem is i have done my undergraduate in India also. So I was wondering will they give me F-1 Visa again. because i have heard that once u do undergraduate they do dont give visa again for undergraduate. Also if I still sit for an interview and they reject me, is it true, that i will never ever get Visa again.
Hello friends, I have got admission in SJSU, California to study MS in Industrial & Systems Engineering. I have got 91 in TOEFL and 790 in GRE, my GRE score is low. Hello everybody.......I am Vishal from Bangalore....I have secured admission in a flight school at USA for commercial pilot training. Ill be appearing for M1 visa interview at US consulate (Chennai) shortly. I am not taking any professional guidance for my visa interview, so i would glad if you guys can answer few of my questions and advise me on the same. Let me tel you guys a lil about my training. The duration of my training is 7-9months. The cost of my training as mentioned on I-20 is $45000 U.S. dollars. It includes 6 months accommodation, food and and utility expenses. I have got a education loan from a nationalized bank. The bank has sanctioned $41500 U.S. dollars. My parents are funding the remaining amount required for my training and other personnel expense . My first questions that, Apart from the $45000 U.S. dollars how much more funds will the interviewer expect me to have at the time of my interview. My second question is regarding the work permit. As you guys know currently air carriers in India are suffering badly, so they have stopped hiring pilots. If i perform well my flight school is ready to employ me as a instructor. However with M1 visa i can stay only for a year without any work permit. So is it possible to apply for work permit and get my visa extended at the end of my training without having come to India? Kindly advise... Regards
Myself Rajkumar, These are the my credentials.... ---GRE-890----(Q-610)----(V-280) ---TOEFL-90 ---For Jan intake ---My background is Computer science. ---I had scored a 55% aggregate in my under graduation. ---and i had 30 backlogs.. --i got I-20 from three universities ---what is the suitable reason should i give at the visa counselor,i am thinking that the fallowing reason can satisfies them ------i was didn't put much hard work for the preparation for the exams but later i did and i succeded...... is that above reason will satisfies them,please help me out..................
