B1 is for business people,which lasts for 3 months.H1B visa
is for 3 years.In H1B visa u can jump to other projects in
US .With L1 u cant.U are tied to the organization.L1 there
are 2 caters.L1A is for busniess people like managers.And
L1B is for people with specialized knowledge who are not
supposed to work at client place.They work at TCS office at
onsite.

Dear Team Iam working for one of the MNC. My current role is Analyst, My GL is Planning to send me US on L1 B I have done my PGDBM from distance mode from Hyderabad Central University …and My Graduation is done through distance mode from Dr.BR Ambedkar Open University.Due to my family issue I have to studied through distance. I have relevant 6 years experience Now my Query is wheather iam eligibility for L1 B.. Or not. If Yes what type of check they are going to do while processing L1 B Visa… Please let me status. Hi I am going to File for L1 visa in a few days, however there is a mismatch in my personal experience. I have a total experience of 5 years and worked in 3 different companies. The first company I worked initially lasted 1.5 years, however, I was fired from there due to low revenue. However they had given me 6 months extra experience in my experience certificate, also I had been provided 3 months salasr when I left. However, I joined my second company in 1 month time. Therefore there was an overlap in my experience, i.e. My first two exeperience certificates show that I worked from Feb 2005 to May 2005 in two different companies. I am not sire if this will create problems while there is BG verification. Please let me know the consequences of this if I apply for L1 visa. Thanks in advance Rahul

Hi, I have done my Engg in Mechanical and passed out in 2006.I have been working with a MNC and on the project for past 14 months. I am going to file my L1. I wanted to know whether i am eligible or not and if so will my engineering in mechanical engg will be a constraint in getting visa.

I have done my +2 and then an open university degree and work experience of 6 years, regular education for 10+2=12yrs, and 3 years partime education. Will I be eligible for L1 Visa?My company is planning to trigger one for me, I am not sure if I would be eligible or not, any pointers would be very helpful.

Right now I am working in India. I got an offer from a Company in US and they sponsored for my H1b and my petition was selected in the random selection. The Company A has told me to join them only after getting H1b i.e. in Oct'07. Simultaneously, my current company is filing L1B for me. My current company will be sending me to US as and when L1B comes. I don’t want to let go US Company offer which depends on me getting H1b in Oct. My Question is, papers for H1b is filed in Apr'07 by US Company, if papers for L1b will be filed now, what will happen to my L1B and H1B status? can i ahve both stamped? What will happen to my L1B if they process now.What i meant was that papers of L1B and H1b are being processed at the same year?
