BO Security (creating the restriction sets in Universe and applying on selected groups or users) or Database security (Creating the tables in database insrting the user details in that tables and giving conditions in self restricting joins in Universe )Which Security will improve the performance of the reports and for best practices ? HI, Can any body explain me ? If we careate objects using derived tables it will decreasess the performence? If we are not creating the objects using the derived tables then what is the use of having the derived tables?

In a report i want to fetch teh data from 2 data Providers. which condetion wil satisfy to link the 2 data providers. ex: Q1 have columns A,B,C Q2 has a X,Y,Z columns. requirement is like i want to get all the columns from those 2 tables in report level..like A,B,C,X,Y,Z in a single report.
