I have a list box which contains duplicate values e.g. A,A,A,B,B,B,C,C,C.Now write a code in qtp to test the list box . Scenario #1 : I have to check whether any values are there? Scenario #2 : If duplicate values are there,then how many time it is getting duplicated? Svenario #3 : how can I test presence of items in list box ommiting duplicate values?

Hello, I am working on automating unix application using QTP via terminal emulator.Recording and playback works as i execute my test case. I need to parameterise my data now. Steps to be followed 1. go to the application TeWindow("TeWindow").Window("Connect").WinButton ("Connect").Click 2. Make a transaction to an account I am able to make transaction one at a time (one person when i run the script) and the script is as below and works fine. whenever a scenario is recorded ever, it creates a object repository automatically (‘per action’ /local ). we do not need to make them individually…then why we need a shared object repository. How it will be practically utilized ?? your input will be highly appreciated..
