The Lungs—Lungs are the main organ of the respirator system of the body. They are situated in the chest. Its main role is the oxygenation of venous blood returning from the various parts of the body and pumped in by the heart. The carbon dioxide in the blood goes into the air-sac and oxygen is carried away by the blood to the various parts of the blood through the circulatory system.
