The Coorg district of Karnataka, India, is one of the main
coffee growing regions in India and the main operations of
Tata Coffee are in Pollibetta, in the southern part of
Coorg. The company owns 18 coffee estates where the coffee
is entirely shade-grown. These estates are located in the
districts of Coorg, Hassan and Chickmagalur in Karnataka and
Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu.
