As per the ref(1) and ref(2) above, for the post of lecturer in computer science and computer applications in government degree colleges, Applicant with MTech (Computers) are eligible for both the posts.
As per ref (3) above, MCA at pg level and BSc(Computers) at UG level are eligible for lecturer in computer science posts. With equivalence to MTech(Computers) the courses with nomenclature mentioned in the aicte approval process hand book 2017-2018 from sl no: 99 to 121 are considered equivalent.
In the Annexure (4) of ref (4) above, the major discipline for computer science as well as Information Technology is Computer science and engineering. For instance the course MTech with specialization in Information Technology is offered by Department of Computer science and engineering, JNTU Hyderabad.
MTech with specialization in Information technology are eligible to appear for NET/SLET in Computer science and applications paper and PhD in computer science and engineering from various universities.
For recruitment to the posts of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges, In respect of CSE, CSIT/IT the appropriateness to CSE as given by APPSC vide their letter No.APSCHE/PGP/ equi/APPSC/Poly.Lec/2013 dated.24.08.2013, the Committee recommended that the courses “B.E./B.Tech CSIT/, IT and IST are considered equivalent with that of B.E./B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and vice versa.
MCA guys moved AP administrative tribunal regarding eligibility for the computer science posts. case no: OA 92/2017. So they got the eligibility.
Why not we MTECH(IT) graduates move APAT regarding our eligibility right. Mtech(IT) is higher qualification than MCA. We are also eligible for NET/SLET in computer science and applications paper.
