For the Quarter Oct-Dec 2008, we hav to give the service tax purchase bills and Sales bills whose payment are cleared in that particular quarter. if i missed any of the bills for the filing? shall i submit the missing bills inthe next quarter(Jan - Mar 09)?

I have some queries about Service Tax, I am working in a Insurance Broking Company. 1) We have raised one bill on 25.04.09 for the services provided by us in the month Mar, 09 Now We received the chq on May, 09 followed in the Month of June,09. When the service tax is actually payable in the month of received of Service tax amount or in the month of services actually provided by us (Mar09) 2) Can we take 100% credit of Service Tax Input paid to those who provided services to us. Suppose Service Tax payable is Rs. 100/- and Service tax charged by the other firms/company Rs. 80/-. The question is That can we deduct Rs. 80/- (already paid). Now Net ST payable would be Rs. 20/- or other percent of service tax input is available 3) What is the rate of interest for Service tax if not paid on time. Pls help me out asap

i am work partnership firm in Uttrakhand. one of our branch established in haryana.and our branch give raw material to another parti in haryana.and same parti supply semifinished component to our branch(uttrakhand). mentain excise duty & c.s.t in bill.and we enter these bill in purchase A/c.instead of job work expenses. so question is that can we able to deduct T.D.S ON these bill.pls explain me in which section we deduct t.d.s. if not, why.

i am a hosewife having a property,given on rent to a company which gives a rent of @10600 per month. the total come 126000. the company wants to deduct tds. as my income is less than 160000.i want to know the type of form required to produce to the company to avoid deduction of TDS.
