you have to cover simple unix commands,filters(grep,sed,find,uniq,cut,paste etc..).then some networking tools like ftp,ping,telnet,scp.then go for shell scripting.
apart from that in oracle you must complete SQL part.PL/SQL is not mandatory.in SQL just go through sublanguages,functions,joins,subqueries,index,view..etc.
