REAL TIME GROSS SETLEMENT SYSTEM,have u noticed when we go to a bank to deposit money we get the fund in our bank account within minutes,this is due to the use of electronic fund transfer that most banks are using nowadays.

RTGS' stands for Real Time Gross Settlement.All the bank
branches in India are not RTGS enabled. As on September 29,
2011, there are more than 78,000 RTGS enabled bank branches.
