factless fact table contains only the keys of the dimension
table.
they do not contain any measures.
whereas fact table contains both dimension table keys and
also measures.

Fact-less fact is a type of fact.
and
FACT is business value indicator or measure which are generally in number
but you can not deny that there are some fact which are not
being represented in numeric values.
best EX: attendance sheet in class when we were kid teacher use to write
A- absent
P-present
and at the end of the of year they use to give our attendance in percentage.
and such fact are fact-less fact we can perform over them as well in MSTR.

A fact table ,which does not contain any facts in it.
It can be used,when you does not need any caluculations ,but want to analyse the data for information level.
FACT is business value indicator or measure which are generally in number,
but you can not opposed to affirm or not refuse to acknowledge that there are some fact which are not
being represented in numeric values.
EX: Number of meetings,
for example if we consider one TEST Fact table,that contain s allthese keysare dimensions except one value that is number of meetings. that can be used in information level not in caluculations.

A fact less fact table that does not contain fact.They
contain only dimensional key and it captures events that
happens only at information level but not included in the
calculation level.Fact less fact table are used for tracking
a process or collecting states.
